Today's Design of the Day was created by me, Cindy Johns! :) It's an abstract card which profoundly expresses hope, inspiration, and wanting to spend more time with someone near and dear who's dealing with cancer. Send this card that is uniquely encouraging--in a metaphysical sense--to a loved one diagnosed with the disease. Pictured is a pink ribbon-like silhouette woman spinning among prisms and hearts (I'd also like to say 'thank you' to Randall Munroe, the creator of the XKCD comic strip, because I got the idea for this card from one of his awesome comics).
You can visit my GCU store, "I Love Cuttables", and see some of my other cards...or send me a message. :)
The Daily Greeting Card Universe Design of the Day picks are selected by the GCU Administrators. Beginning September 16 of 2012, I will no longer post the Design of the Day winners. On that date, I will have posted to this blog for an entire year - and that's long enough. You can still see the GCU Design of the Day picks at GCU's Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/greetingcarduniverse

Congrats on having your card featured! I love XKCD, too.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Aqua Lee! And congrats to you on the recent birth of your little daughter! :) When I went to your store on GCU and saw that you were in 2nd grade in 1992, I realized you are just a few years older than my own daughter. Lol. And it was my son, as a matter-of-fact, who introduced me to XKCD. :) Very nice to make your acquaintance, and I'll look forward to seeing more of you cards and artwork now that your daughter takes longer naps. ;)
